Jackson Lodge is doing fine
The Pirate’s Jackson Lodge threw 2.1 scoreless innings yesterday and struck out 4 in their 7-3 win over the Tigers in GCL action.
He came on in the 7th with 2 out and 1 on and immediately put down the threat and finished the inning.
The 8th was dominating for the young Adelaide lefty with 3 consecutive strike outs before another clean inning in the 9th which earned him his 2nd Save.
It’s been a good season for Jackson. He has shown encouraging improvement on his somewhat ordinary year in 2011 when he finished with a 6.75ERA over 29.1 innings. This year he has halved his ERA to 3.16 over an increased workload of 37 innings.
He is doing fine.
