Time for Balfour to return to closer role; Barnes
Ryan Cook recorded his 12th Save yesterday despite giving up 2 runs in the 9th against the Angels.
We said this the other day but we think it’s time for the A’s to go back to Grant Balfour as it’s the 6th time in 8 appearances that Cook has given up at least 1 run and he’s blown 4 Saves in that time.
Grant by contrast, has given up 1 run in his last 14 appearances and that was the home run against the Angels.
Time to make the move we think.
