Josh Spence bounces back with a win; Hughes, Tanner

A win for Josh Spence

In a pleasing return to form after Saturday’s futile effort Tucson’s Josh Spence threw 2 good innings in relief in the 6th/7th to get the win in a 14-11 victory over Albuquerque. Trent Oeltjen didn’t play yesterday.

His line was 2INN, 1H, 1R, 0ER, 3BB, 1K.

Josh is W3-2, 5.93ERA.

Luke Hughes hit 1-4 yesterday scoring 1 run for Las Vegas. Since signing with the Blue Jay’s AAA team he has hit safely in every game and is hitting .333.

The Fresno Grizzlies had a 10th inning walk off victory defeating Memphis 2-1. Clayton Tanner made a quality contribution throwing 3 innings giving up 1 unearned run on 2 hits, holding down the 5th, 6th and 7th innings.
