Are Trent Oeltjen and Rich Thompson candidates for a September call up?
Trent Oeltjen went 2-5 yesterday taking his AVG to .318 overall and .472 in his last 10. After breaking his streak earlier this week Trent has now continued to hit in his last 3.
Also having a strong stretch is fellow New South Welshman Rich Thompsonwho has only allowed 2 runs in his last 10 outings for the Sacremento River Cats. In 15.1 innings he has given up 9 hits for the 2 runs whilst striking out 15, although he has walked 10. Still that gives him a 1.17ERA over the 10 games lowering his AAA ERA to 3.58.

Like Trent he may be a candidate for a September call up if he can maintain this pace.
