Zephyrs Complete Sweep of Cubs – Ryan Rowland-Smith
The New Orleans Zephyrs (60-51) won their sixth straight game and completed a four-game sweep of the Iowa Cubs (42-69) with a 5-3 win at Zephyr Field this afternoon. The Cubs finished their 12-game road trip at 1-11 and are 4-16 since the All-Star Break.
Ryan Rowland-Smith relieved in 2 of the Zephyrs’ games. In his 1st on the 29th he had a scoreless inning and in the 2nd (31st) he gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He has a 4.44ERA for the season.
