It was a mixed bag for the two Aussies with the Red Sox A team, Greenville, in their 11-5 loss to Charleston.
On the one hand Boss Moanaroa went home happy with a 2-3 day, including an RBI double and 2RBI. He is hitting .263 for the season.
Justin Erasmus however, did it tough. He gave up 5 runs on 8 hits (including a 2RBI home run) and a walk over 4 innings whilst striking out 4 raising his ERA to 7.24.
His Hawkes fell 5-3 to the Lumberkings but Kable Hogben did his best for them – throwing 3 scoreless innings, allowing only 1 hit whilst striking out 2. His ERA is 2.89.
Daytona Cubs’ Ryan Searle threw 1.1 scoreless innings with 1K in their 4-3 win over Charlotte. He owns a 4.26ERA.
David Kandilas’s Asheville Tourists went down 6-5 to the Rome Braves. David went 1-3 scoring a run and a walk. He is hitting .237. Peter Moylan is due to pitch for Rome tomorrow.
