Luke Hughes breaks his Oakland drought

No errors and went 1-4

There wasn’t anything positive for the A’s today except that Luke Hughes returned to 3rd from his bout of the flu, didn’t make any errors [embarrassing that we should even have to comment on that] and picked up his 1st hit with his new club although still striking out twice.   The Orioles celebrated the unveiling of Frank Robinson’s bronze statue at Camden Yards by vanquishing the Athletics 10-1. Wei-Yin Chen limited his opponent to one run, and the offense connected on 14 hits to support him.
