Young Adelaide player off to Europe
Jackson Brebner-Russ has signed with Kotlarka Praha in the Czech Republic. This is a new team that is being coached by Pat Aherne who played briefly in the Majors with Detroit and spent a number of years in the old ABL playing for the Adelaide Giants, Melbourne Reds and Perth Heat.
Jackson is a catcher who plays locally in Adelaide for Sturt and is a graduate of the ABF’s MLBAAP.
He is a former Australian representative having played in the 2009 AA team and before that in the 2006 Australian A-Roos team selected to compete at the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Maryland.
