Brendan Wise had a rough start to his 2012 season when he came on in relief for the Rochester Red Wings in the 7th with the bases loaded and 1 out. The 1st batter he faced singled and brought in 2 runs and then he gave up a double to the next hitter who brought in 2 more runs. Brendan then settled down and closed out the inning and then followed with a scoreless 8th. Of those 4 runs only 1 was awarded against Brendan. Despite this Rochester defeated Syracuse 7-4.
AA:-
Clayton Tanner threw a scoreless 6th for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in their 3-1 win over Montgomery.
James Beresford had a good start to his AA career going 2-3 for the New Britain Rock Cats in 3-2 win over Richmond.
Tim Kennelly on the other hand went 0-3 for the Reading Phillies in their 4-2 win over Portland.
Andrew Russell threw 1 scoreless, 3 up 3 down, 6th for the Mississippi Braves in their loss to Mobile.

Stefan Welch played a significant role in the Bradenton Marauders 11th inning win over his old team, the St Lucie Mets. Stefan was hit by a pitch in the 11th with the bases loaded to give him 1RBI and the Marauders the win. Stefan went 1-4.
Low A:-
Corey Adamson went 0-4 in the Fort Wayne TinCaps loss to Lake County.
Rory Rhodes went 0-3 for the Beloit Snappers in their 5-2 loss to the Peoria Chiefs.
