David Kandilas continues to impress – look for him to star in the ABL

Watch for him to star in the ABL this season

David Kandilas hit his 17th double for the season today in the Casper Ghosts game against Orem.   David is on a 10 game hitting streak, the longest streak he has had this year [he had a 7 game streak back from 26th June to the 3rd July].

With a .319AVG, after 58 games, he has also hit for power with the 17 doubles, 10 triples* and 6 home runs as well as 33 RBIs.  These are all career highs for David.

To give you some idea of how he has advanced look at his SLG for his career so far.  2009 – .269   2010 – .383   2011 – .544

All in all he is going to be one exciting Blue Sox player to watch in this season’s ABL.   Oh and don’t forget he’s got the best arm in the ABL.

*With his triple in the bottom of the fourth in today’s game  David has broken the club record for most triples in a season with 10!
