Hayden back in business
Hayden Beard is finally back on the mound after a long stint on the DL with stress fractures in his ankle. Today he took his first tentative step back to pitching with a rehab outing with the AZL Padres. He threw 1 scoreless inning in the 9th, facing 4 for 0H, 0R, 1BB. 1K. The Padres went down 6-14 to the Reds. Corey Adamson was 0-4.
Andrew Campbell was 0-3 with 1RBI for the AZL Indians. He is hitting .271 for the season.
